The mission of Northern Secondary’s Guidance Department is to support and promote students’ well-being and continuous growth in three areas: personal (student) development, interpersonal development (relationships), and career development. 

We're professional school advocates who are a part of a student's support team as they continue to develop resiliency and realize their potential as individuals and as valuable members of society.  

Guidance counselors work in partnership with other educators, families, and the community to assist in preparing all students with the knowledge and skills needed to be productive, contributing members of a global community.
