In Catchment Admissions

Northern SS Boundary Steps:

You will apply via myBlueprint from your TDSB grade 8 school if you are in catchment

There are 3 potential options for enrollment if you live in Northern’s catchment area:

a) Secondary School (home school)

all courses open to student

b) Technological Programming

must take one (1) TECH course per year

c) Commercial School (a.k.a Business)

must take one (1) Business course per year

**Please note: if you do not fall into our Secondary catchment, but do fall into BOTH our Technological and Commercial catchment, you may pick either a tech or business course.

Students with Special Education Needs

Students with special education needs for whom a change in setting or program is being considered for grade 9 should be discussed at the School Support Team (SST) meeting (this meeting will occur with the parent(s)/guardian(s) and the SST) at your grade 8 school.
