Advanced Placement (A.P.)
overview
What is Advance Placement (A.P.)?
The College Board Advanced Placement (A.P.) courses provide highly motivated students with an enriched academic program, preparation for the rigours of the academic challenges associated with post-secondary studies, and opportunities to explore a subject in greater depth and to hone skills. Students are also given an opportunity to show their mastery of the skills and material by writing an A.P. exam. The A.P. program focuses on teaching students how to learn, how to analyze, and how to reach reasoned conclusions.
