SKATE DAY
Thursday, February 8th
PERMISSION/VOLUNTEERS
Thank you to everyone who has already given permission for skate day. I know many have also checked off that they can volunteer with their class as well. Please make sure you are in touch with your child's homeroom teacher in order to best coordinate numbers, and if you could let them know if you are skating it would be helpful.
SKATES/HELMETS
Please make sure that all skates and CSA hockey helmets are brought to school the day of the 20th, and that they are safe for travel. Might be best to send them to school in a separate bag that can be easily carried.
All skates and CSA approved hockey helmets that are being borrowed from Gledhill will be waiting at the arena for students when they arrive. They are also to be left there when finished skating.
***adults must also wear a helmet when on the ice
GLOVES
All student skaters must wear gloves when on the ice.
SCHOOL CASH ONLINE
The suggestion contribution is $5 and will be available as of February 9th.

Who is going?
Grades 1-3 from 10am-11am
Grades 4-5 from 1:30pm-2:30pm
Permission form for all families and can be completed on EMA "Excursion Management Application". I have included a parent guide on my website under the EMA tab.
Please reach out to your home room teacher if you are able to volunteer, or if you are in need of borrowing skates and/or a CSA approved hockey helmet. Parent council was in already helping those students who indicated that they are in need of skates try some on.
More information was emailed to all families on Friday, February 2nd.
