Independent Learning Centre (ILC)

The Independent Learning Centre (ILC) is another way for students to earn credits. The ILC is NOT run by the TDSB. Students must pay their own fees and work on the course entirely on their own. There is no teacher for the course; students work through units themselves. 

If students are successful in an ILC course and want it added to your TDSB transcript, you must have ILC email your final report card so it can be added.

How to Apply for an ILC Course

• you need an electronic copy of your transcript (you can request a copy from cityadultstudentservices@tdsb.on.ca

• you must have a form of electronic payment as the fee must be paid before you can enrol in the course
