PARENT Council MEETINGS

The ARC meets with parents once a month to relay any important information, answer questions, build relationships.

They may be virtual for the foreseeable future (we will let you know)

Sept 15- ARC Social - to meet people and hear parent concerns at Granite Brewery

Sept 29 - ARC Presentation "Getting off to a Good Start" - speaker - Susan Schenk from Shift Your Thinking

Oct - no meeting as there will be SC election; there is a SYT parent/youth call for "School and Stress" that we can highlight for parents to get more support

Nov - SYT has a parent/youth call on "Tech Coaching" and also their annual conference Nov 4-5

Nov 16 - ARC Social/Zoom parent chat - TBD - maybe watch a video and discuss like a book club

Jan 19 - ARC "Half time Check in" - speaker - Susan Schenk - talk about how the first semester has gone, how to work on collaboration to reach goals

Jan/Feb/Apr/May - SYT will likely have parent/youth calls, as based on pattern this year

Feb 9 - ARC Social/Zoom parent chat - TBD - maybe watch a video and discuss like a book club

April 20 - ARC - "Finishing Well" - speaker - Susan Schenk - talk about how to finish well and assess what skills are needed to work on for next year

May 11 - ARC Social - review, feedback at Granite Brewery
