The CORE program at Northern SS is an intensive support program that aims to ensure student success by offering IEP supports in a smaller class environment. Teachers and Educational Assistants work closely with students to ensure the program reflects their strengths and needs.
Students are offered placement into the CORE program through the IPRC process (Identification Placement Review Committee) or the SEPRC process (Special Education Program Recommendation Committee) as outlined by the TDSB. Refer to TDSB website:
