WELCOME

Welcome to the Academic Resource Centre (ARC) at Northern Secondary School.  My name is Amanda Kearney and I am the Curriculum Leader for the department.  I work with students who have learning disabilities or have an Individual Education Plan (I.E.P.) and those placed in our CORE Program (LD Intensive Support Program) I look forward to working with you.   

The ARC is located on the first floor of the school in room 112 - turn left in the front foyer, second door on the right.

Students: please feel free to stop by and introduce yourself and ask any questions you may have. 

This Google Site will be a source of information for students, parents and/or guardians to help you navigate the year. It will be updated regularly to reflect the Board's decisions on how to move forward with Special Education procedures.

The ARC has several important members who are committed to ensuring your success.  The department consists of Resource GLE Teachers, Educational Assistants and a Special Needs Assistant.
