Dual Credits were introduced to help secondary students complete their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and to successfully transition them to college and apprenticeship programs.

These courses offer a “two for one” advantage.  With a Dual Credit, you will earn a High School credit and a College credit at the same time, at no cost!

Several Accelerated OYAP program offer students the opportunity to not only earn high school co-op credits and part or all of their Level 1 apprenticeship, but also offer students the potential to earn one, two or three “Dual Credits” in recognition of the college level work and training they engaged in.
