Bush school
The Fantail Class is currently taught by Whaea Kat and Ms Tulett. Our shared philosophy is meeting children where they are, regardless of the skills and experiences your child has had before starting at Tauhei Combined School, learning programmes are designed to ensure accessibility across the class with individualised goals and support provided.
The class is made up of Year 0 to Year 2 students.
We utilise the Better Start Literacy Approach, and more information about this can be found here.
Fridays in term 1 and 4 are spent at Pukemokemoke reserve.

Everyday, children access play within our classroom learning time. Through HERO's choice, children recieve opportunities to practice our School Values through both free play and guided play activities.

Quality Support
Quality Support
Our class is lucky to have Rachel supporting us as a Learning Assistant. Her role varies greatly from supporting children with health needs, academic and social activities.
