We are privileged to have Carl Watkins and the MusiqHub team visit us once a week. These lessons, whilst they occur during school hours, are not part of the curriculum delivery at Tauhei Combined School. Therefore, parents do pay for these lessons.

The pupils learn to play their instruments to a proficient level. Feedback from parents is that these lessons are very worthwhile. The musicians also have opportunities to perform their learning in front of the school and invite parents from time to time. Instruments are available at school to use including drums, piano, guitar, bass, ukulele.
