Our Kea class this year is made up a fun group of 17 Year 5 and 6 students. We have a great environment in Room 3 to learn and build leadership skills in. We have enjoyed getting to know each other, swimming every day and Mr Seator has introduced us to daily mindfulness practice.
This term we have been learning to conduct a statistical investigation to answer a question. We displayed our data on a range of different graphs and interpreted these by making sensible statements. We have been learning to write a narrative by focusing on character and setting discriptions. We have enjoyed reading the book 'Stop The Tour' about the 1981 Springbok Tour to New Zealand.
Rain or shine, we enjoy bush school on Fridays and our Kea kids get to use their growing leadership skills helping the younger classes in our activities.
