Interviews assess motivation, communication, problem-solving, and ethical reasoning. They are usually designed to test your suitability and aptitude to study medicine and become a doctor. There are two formats:
Regardless of the interview format:
Practice thinking aloud and responding to unfamiliar scenarios.
Be prepared to discuss your work experience, reflection, and understanding of the profession.
Review the NHS Core Values and Constitution. It is incredibly common to have a question or scenario related to this.
