Diverse Learning Programs

The Diverse Learning Department at Marist Catholic College North Shore aims to assist any student who may require additional educational support, however, the primary focus of the department is to assist students who are identified (through appropriate medical documentation) as having a:


  • Physical Disability

  • Sensory Disability

  • Intellectual Disability

  • Specific Learning Difficulty

  • Psychiatric Disorder

  • Social and Communication Disorder

  • Chronic Illness


The Diverse Learning department offers a range of programs to support individual students or small groups of students. Students who do not have a documented disability may still receive some in-class support, access to special provisions and assessment assistance through the Open Classroom program. Students are encouraged to use the Centre if they need support in completing homework, class work or assessments.
