Blended Learning Model
The Blended Learning Model, drastically reduces the number of students physically attending school:
Students will be grouped by home address, not last name, allowing families to attend school on the same days.
One group (blue) of students would receive face-to-face instruction on Mondays and Tuesdays.
A second group (green) of students would receive face-to-face instruction on Thursdays and Fridays.
Students will have instruction supplemented in a variety of ways. Students will have some materials sent home with them and will also receive some instruction virtually (Remote Learning 2.0).
While continual cleaning will take place on a daily basis, Wednesdays will be utilized to complete a thorough deep cleaning of all school buildings.
We will be transitioning to a Blended Learning environment on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. The blue/green school calendar can be found by clicking HERE.
Based on the unpredictable nature of the virus and the way in which community spread impacts our operations, there is a very real possibility that these plans will change before school starts or shortly thereafter. We will do our best to communicate with families in a timely fashion.
