Porcelain tile with underglaze

Artist Statement: This view is one that is very familiar to me, this is my camp lake view. I wanted a shape better than just a plain square so I gave it a little arch at the top. I used carving tools and a sgraffito sab with glaze. I thought about man different things to carve into my slab but I wanted to do something with meaning to me. that is why I chose this to carve. I wish I could have added more to the slab, something like what is in the scratchboard idea generation.
