What I went off for this project is the shape of the ink splatter, I thought the ink splatter really looked like a miss shapen ball, so i decided to make a factory that spits out the balls that aren't perfect,. as you can see in the work these is two different lines I was really trying to show a situation that might really happen with a major manufacturer. The only material I used for this is graphite and I tried to keep it on the lighter side so the ink popped out more. Before I chose this to make as my peice I thought about multiple different options to draw, I thought about an underwater ecosystem or a ballon in the sky, there were a few ideas but this one definitely took it.
