Artist Statement

I tried to turn the google letters into different foods, the G is supposed to be a shrimp platter, the l is supposed to be a baguette. I used colored pencils to draw it.

My project evolved because at first I was going to draw school supplies, to show that everyone should be able to go to school, but I switched to food, because a world where no one was starving would be a lot better.

The meaning behind the artwork is that I felt that a world where no one is starving would be great, and that’s one of the big flaws with our world today. My artwork would be stronger if I had finished, I had trouble thinking of what to use the different letters for
