Stars and Stripes

The Main idea that guided my artwork was thinking of something that is important to me to depict in this american art work. So I chose my late grandfather who was at a native american Pow Wow in the original photo.

I used photoshop to create this artwork. It was based off of a photo of my grandfather that our family keeps in our house. But I re designed it, and added a different background.

The processes I went through was having multiple ideas of what to do. I wanted to do a lacrosse stick, the we can do it woman, and had many other ideas up in the head but my final decision was my grandfather.
