Materials: Photoshop, and Photo of Me

Ideas: I was going to draw a heart out of skateboards, put a design in the middle, and color it with markers. But later switched to creating the art based on a picture of my skateboarding. So I used photoshop and created a design based on a real picture of me skating.

Size: 8in/8in

Artist Statement: The main idea of my artwork was doing something that represented something that I truly and passionate about, which is skateboarding. It is like a happy place for me, it calms me down and brings me joy when I skate, it's one of my favorite things that I do.

I used adobe photoshop to create the design of my skateboarding. I chose photoshop because it is easier for me to make it look more presentable and less messy.

The process that I went through when creating this artwork was deciding how I wanted to represent my love for skateboarding in my favorite way. I originally started with, drawing the heart of skateboards. But I decided To do something more creative and better looking. So I decided to use a photo of me skateboarding and create an alternate and more colored version with a different background, and more colors.
