Beautiful oops

Graffiti Artist

Paper Graphite pencil, sharpie, colored pencils

23-35in

The main idea the guided my artwork was using the creative part of my brain to picture somebody else being creative. I drew a little man painting a mural on a brick wall, and had the idea that he was an abstract artist so I used the splash of paint to my advantage in a great way. And it turned out ok for a non-artist like me.

The materials I used were a given sheet of paper with a random splash of paint, I used a 2H graphite pencil to trace my person, a sharpie pen to outline him, his spray gun, and the paint, and colored pencils to bring everything to life.

This took me a while to think about because I couldn't grasp an idea that would make sense like it is just paint, what can I do with that. But then the though of an abstract graffiti artist popped into my head, and I immediately got to work on creating my beautiful oops project.
