Realistic Self Portrait

The main idea that guided my artwork was drawing a half decent self portraIt that was somewhat recognizable. I think it ended up going alright for my standards.

My artwork was made by me looking at the picture and trying my best to copy down the values and shapes of the picture. I used a few different pencils, my pastel paper, and my photo.

The processes I wnet through while doing this project was a lot of trial and error. I found myself doing lots of erasing and I may have been better off taking my time a little more.
