Extended Blind Contour

Scissors by Ben Bolduc

Pencil, Colored pencil

1.5"x4.5"

The main idea that guided this drawing was that these scissors were sitting right in front of me and I had to draw something so I picked them.

This work was made by me staring at my scissors whilst I blindly drew the scissors on my paper.

the process I went through when making this work was first I found the scissors, then laid them out and drew them, then colored them in. Also, I was not informed that these were supposed to be overlayed (I wasn't in class).

Hand by Ben Bolduc

Pencil, Colored Pencil

3.5"x3.75"

The main idea that guided this drawing was the fact that my hand is always easily accessible and therefore I tried to draw it in the blind contour fashion.

This work was made by me staring at my hand while I blindly drew my hand on my paper.

the process I went through when making this work was first I looked down at my hand, then laid it out and drew it, then colored it in. Also, I was not informed that these were supposed to be overlayed (I wasn't in class).
