Kelp Mini-Poster

Kelp Mini-Poster

We learned about the different types of macroalgae. Macroalgae, seaweed and kelp, are different than microalgae, which are plants, because they don't have the same structure. There are three types: green algae, brown algae, and red algae. For this assignment, we wrote about kelp, which is part of the brown algae phylum, and wrote its phylum, its scientific name, its common name, three facts about it, and a labeled structure.

Reflection:

I think I did a good job designing and coloring this mini-poster. My last mini-poster lacked design, so I think I did a good job adding it this time. I also think the facts I used were important, and that I included everything it needed.

I think I could do a better job on my time management. I didn't finish this assignment until the last day, so I need to work on looking ahead on my assignments. I also could have made my drawing more fun. Although it includes everything it needs, it is not very detailed looking, so I think I could add to it.
