Who I am: Fiorella Vicente was born in Greenbrae, California and grew up in Novato, California . Her older sister just graduated high school and her mom works for a successful company and her dad is self-employed. She does non competitive Gymnastics and enjoys reading, soccer games, Neymar Jr, and hanging out with friends. She normally takes naps everyday and loves the cold weather. She loves the city and wants to move to New York City when she is older or for college.
Why Physics: Fiorella Vicente chose Medical physics because she wants to advance in her problem solving techniques of engineering to biology and medicine. She thinks focusing on advanced technology and medicine to develop new devices and equipment for improving human health is very important and a fun job. .
Using Physics: In Medical physics, you use critical thinking, and interpersonal skills. Medical physics excels in math and science because it revolves around medical physics. You should be able to stay focused and motivated even when data gets too complex or all together difficult. Medical Physics fulfill important roles in medicine, they solve challenges within diagnosing and treatment by using their problem solving and using physics.
Advice for Students: Fiorella advises to push through the difficult problems that will occur. She says nothing is impossible and you must try and give it your all even when it seems impossible. Remember in order to move forward you must solve what kept you backwards.
