Per the GREA Contract, all new GREA hires are required to complete 18 hours of orientation by one year from their date of hire. All Orientation courses can be found in KALPA and include the word "Orientation" in the title.

Orientation is a 6-hour session led by district staff, designed to help you get familiar with our curriculum, department resources, and strategies for building strong scholar relationships—with an emphasis on Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), Equity, and support for English Language Learners.Â
Supervisor Orientation
Supervisor Orientation
Completed with your supervisor, this 2-hour course introduces you to resources in your building/department and discusses evaluation. Register on KALPA. You and your supervisor determine the meeting time.
