Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR)

The Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) serves people who have disabilities - physical, mental, emotional - that present a substantial impediment to employment. Services are provided to individuals to prepare for, enter into, engage in or retain employment.

Current juniors and seniors who have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or health impairment are encouraged to meet with the OVR representative to determine if they may be eligible for OVR services. Kathy Wellman is the Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor that has been assigned to Franklin High School. She is scheduled to be at the high school twice a month, but could schedule to meet at the school on a different day that is convenient for the student.

Ask your guidance counselor for more information or contact the OVR representative directly by phone 814.651.9600 or by email kwellman@pa.gov.
