Bintulu is a coastal town in Sarawak, Malaysia. It covers an area of 7220 square kilometers in Sarawak. It is the fourth largest city in Sarawak. Bintulu is also known as an industrial estate town because of the production of gas and oil. Bintulu's port is the busiest in Sarawak. This port is the major maritime gateway to Eastern Malaysia and it is Sarawak’s first 24-hour open deep-water port.
