The 4th Grade Green Team made "Green Cleaners" for staff from vinegar, baking soda, water and essential oils. These were distributed to the staff along with microfiber cloths.
Patterson Park Public Charter School participates in the Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Program, which will provide a healthy snack to your child through a federal grant. Students recieve a fresh fruit or vegetable every school day such as grapes, oranges, carrots or pears.
Students in 3rd and 4th Grade meet with Ms. April from JHU and learn about healthy eating and how to keep their hearts healthy.
During the fall and spring, the PPPCS running club has two sessions a week in Patterson Park on Tuesday and Fridays from 4:00-5:30PM. We have more than 100 kids and many teachers and parents are involved!
The garden club educates students about the benefits of growing healthy food and native plants.
During the month of December, all PE classes participate in ice skating in the ice skating rink in Patterson Park. Older grade levels are paired with lower grade levels and parents are encouraged to attend!
Our middle school students are able to pick a minor. These classes are based on interest and meet twice a week for a semester.
