What is a Story?
Stories are an account of events that can be either imaginary or real, contains plot, the main events, setting, the world/area it is set in, characters, the living beings that are in the story, POV the point in which the audience views the story from and conflict, the struggle of the main character.
How can framing help as a camera operator?
Where the intention should be drawn to, Cowboy, close up, full body.
What does the rule of thirds mean?
Divide the frame into three segments, by placing objects on the lines where the shot is divided you can draw attention to them.
How can a shot create power?
Filling the frame shows power.
Camera Shots:
Medium shot: Shot which shows from the waist up, commonly used for dialogue scenes.
Long shot: Shot which shows a wide view of the full characters as well as background characters, environment etc.
Shoulder level shot: Shot which shows the person from shoulders up.
Close up shot: Shot which is form close up, often used to show facial features.
Establishing shot: Shot which shows the first scene, establishes the film.
Cowboy shot: From the crotch area up.
Medium close up shot: From chest up.
Extreme Close up shot: shows specific features in the face or just really close up.
Full shot: Character fills whole frame whilst still showing scenery.
Extreme Long shot: Shows ultra wide view of environment with characters in far away.

Difference between a shot and a cut?
A shot is the continuous footage or sequence between each cut, a cut is when the camera has been moved to look at a different shot (can be of the same scene, or different area of the scene etc.)
Camera angles:
Shot 1:
Shot 1 is an establishing long shot, as it establishes the scene and a wide view of both the actors and the environment from a fair distance away.
VFX used: Iron man suit is partially generated using CGI.
Shot 2:
Shot 2 is a full shot as it shows the full view of Thanos whilst still showing the scenery.
VFX used: Thasos's weapon, and Thanos himself is also VFX using motion capture.
Shot 3:
Shot 3 is between a medium shot and a cowboy shot as the actors are at different heights but generally Its a medium shot.
Shot 4:
Shot 4 is an extreme long shot, showing a large area of environment with the characters a large distance away.
Shot 5:
Shot 5 is another medium shot from the chest up.
Shot 6:
Shot 6 is back to the medium/cowboy shot from shot 3 but slightly closer (it is a different shot).
Shot 7:
Shot 7 is a medium/cowboy shot as the characters are shot from stomach up.
Shot 8:
Shot 8 is a Cowboy shot of the actors.

What Is important to do when planning a sequence with multiple shots?
It is important to consider the type of cuts because depending on the type of cut used can determine the way a story or elements of a story are seen, L cuts can be used to show surprise, jump scare etc. L cut allows for flashbacks to be narrated over by a character in the story.
