Changing the vertices in ways to change the shape/form of 3D objects. There are many tools that can be used in sculpt mode.
To the left on the UI there is a list of all sculpting tools to be used which usually include their hotkey if applicable. And to the right in the outliner at the top of the list is the tools tab, this is where you can change various things to do with the brush itself.
Keyboard shortcuts:
Hold right click- change radius, strength and auto smoothness of the brush.
Pressing q will bring up the quick favourites menu where you can access your favourite tools quickly.
An interesting and useful feature of sculpting is Dyntopo, this means that your brush adds geometry when you sculpt and is one of the most useful features of sculpting.
This is my first sculpt, we were asked to create a pumpkin and so using the sculpt editor in blender I sculpted this pumpkin and texture it along with giving it a light inside the pumpkin.
This is the same pumpkin just in fog to define the light rays. Could have lowered the density more so the pumpkin is more visible.
Here we were given a 3D model of a human head to try sculpting on and I tried to go for a robotic type of being, by sculpting wires out of the model etc.
