Assignment Brief
The industry is lacking in high levels and range of skill in both art and programming. Ubisoft is seeking a range of 3D environment artists and I have been tasked with demonstrating my knowledge and skills in; concept art, modelling and texturing in my portfolio.
For this project I've been tasked with creating an indoor environment setting based in one of the four games. The four games are Stalker 2, The last of us, Terminator survival project and The day before. These four games have one blatant thing in common, they're all set in a post apocalyptic environment.
I need to display my ability to use popular asset creation tools, the ability to research and to plan. I've also been tasked with designing and creating the environment with appropriate industry asset creation software and other 3D tools. Some 3D tools I will be using are photoshop, for concept art, blender for 3D asset creation.
All evidence for my work should be shown here on this portfolio. I will be required and will be assessed on contextualisation, adaptation and my various skills and processes.
All processes in 3D software should be recorded and time lapsed, with voice over to explain the processes going on. Any none recorded evidence should be posted as screenshots and will be explained in text format.
