The goal of a political cartoon is to persuade you about political topics. 

6. What are the five persuasive techniques that cartoonists use in their work? In a sentence or two, explain the technique in your own words.

Cartoonists use symbolism, exaggeration, labeling, analogy, and irony.

Symbolism - Symbols and objects are being used to represent ideas or concepts

Exaggeration - When a cartoonist makes a point by overdoing a physical characteristic. 

Labeling - When a cartoonist uses labels or objects to clearly state their point. 

Analogy - When a cartoonist compares two different things with similar characteristics. 

Irony- When the cartoonist uses things are expected to be, the ways things are, and the way things should be in their cartoon.

No, because the cartoon made the viewers infer its overall message and doesn't state the point clearly.

The cartoonist could have used more objects that symbolized their point or facts.

That people can always have a different perspective when seeing the Nazi symbol depending on their own experiences and beliefs.

The cartoonist could have used more exageration to prove their point.
