Olivia's Journalism 1 Site 7th Period

Hi my name is Olivia! I'm 14 years old and newly a freshmen in high school. I'm brunette and 5"2. Some of my favorite sports are track and soccer. My favorite things to do on the weekends are binge tv shows, bake, and spend time with friends! Some favorites foods of mine are cheeseburgers, pasta, and pizza. My hope for the future is to travel around the world and see and eat all different sites and foods. My dream vacations are Europe, Brazil, and the Philippines. Some bucket list items I have is to go skydiving, learn to scuba dive, and drive a race car! Overall I'm a very adventurous person who wants to learn more and see the world.

Journalism 1 was an elective I choose because I want to learn how to create different templates, newspaper pages, articles, and sites! Also so I can improve on my writing, spelling, and use of technology. I also have always wanted to give interviews and take pictures because I love designing and writing about others! Plus this class looks good on college applications. So overall I really loved the thought and layout of the journalism class.

My previous experiences with digital media consist of taking the class in 8th grade. In the class we learned to use Photopea and Adobe illustrater. Some skills I learned were how to add text boxes, change the background, add graphics, and use certain tools like pencil, color, and more! Overall I learned certain aspects but I'm excited to learn more.
