Complete the google form with your county information.
Have an adult email me a picture of your county shape colored in.
If you can, record a video of you presenting your information and share it with me. I will work to share out the gathered information at the end of the week to complete your county books.
Students only need to complete one county each week.
****If a student doesn't know their county or may have left it at school over break, they can email me to get that information. I have a master copy of all the assigned counties. I can also send a copy of the county shape for them to color as well.***
North American Exploration
Can't go under it. Can't go over it...or can you?
Magellan already found his way around the word. Portugal and Spain had control of the route going around the southern tip of South America. Now the race was on to see who could find another way. We begin to see other explorers sent by the competitors from Europe to find the Northwest Passage. This is where we see the French, the English, and even the Dutch search for their place in this world. One man will even meet his doom on his never ending quest.

Research the following explorers and gather information on them using the S.S. textbook or research of your own (must cite your sources correctly and sources should be proper as we have talked about in class.) Have this information prepared by Wednesday. You can fill it into the form below. Create a new form for each explorer.
