Lacrosse

Lacrosse is a popular sport at Strathblane Primary School. Mrs Bairner runs the school lacrosse club with parent helper, Emma Condron (in terms 2 and 3). In term 3, two teams are selected to participate in the Central Regional  Lacrosse Tournament. One team of 8 (4 boys and 4 girls) compete in the Open tournament. Another team of 8 (also 4 boys and 4 girls) compete in the Under 11s tournament.

In March, our Open Team achieved 1st place in the Central Regional Lacrosse Tournament. Our Under 11s team achieved 3rd place. As the top 3 can progress, both teams have now gained selection to the Scottish Lacrosse Finals at the end April.
