In our first couple of months in Primary 4, the class have been busy learning and exploring lots of new things! In Maths, we have been practising times tables and developing skills in column addition with carrying and column subtraction with borrowing. For topic work, we joined in a whole-school values project on fairness, where we discussed what it means to be fair, created artwork, and even wrote fairness poems. We are currently learning about Australia, discovering its animals, landmarks, and creating fact files. In reading, we have focused on reflective reading, working on answering questions in full sentences and using the text to support our answers. In PE we have been developing ball skills as well as improving team work. The class have also been learning how to use their Chromebooks and are now able to independently use them to access their work.
