Primary 3 have had a fantastic and busy start to the year! We started the year off by exploring what makes us unique and celebrating both our similarities and differences. To reflect this, we decorated mirrors with positive words that describe ourselves — a daily reminder of how special each of us is.
We've been diving into some exciting design projects, working collaboratively to create our ideal school shoe and an eco-friendly shopping bag. Another design project was building playground shelters using tarps, tents, and bungee ties. We were proud to see how creative and welcoming our structures turned out!
Learning outdoors has been a big part of our term. We've especially enjoyed playing new numeracy games in the playground, which have helped us sharpen our maths skills while having fun.
In PE, we've been developing important sporting skills such as spatial awareness, teamwork, and throwing and catching. We’ve had great fun applying these skills to netball and trying out different positions.
A huge thank you to our Parent Council for funding so many new art resources for our classroom . They've made a real difference and we’re so grateful!
