Gary Vansuch is Director of Process Improvement for the Colorado Department of Transportation (also known as "CDOT"). He directs efforts to improve the organization's operations, focused on making government more effective, efficient and elegant. He has over 30 years of business improvement and change leadership experience in the energy, financial services, research and government services sectors. Gary is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a Certified Change Management Practitioner. Additionally, Gary served 6 years with the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award program, including 4 years as a Senior Examiner and as a member of the national Case Study Development Team. He has also been a Judge for the International Team Excellence Awards, and a Judge for the RIT / USA Quality Cup competition for improvement teams.

CDOT's process improvement initiative has received national recognition, including designation as a "Bright Idea in Government" from the Innovations in American Government Awards program, which is administered by the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University; and, as a winner of the 2017 North American Employee Engagement Award.

Michelle is a program manager in the Office of Process Improvement at CDOT. Michelle grew up in New Mexico and has called Colorado home for over 25 years. Michelle has worked at CDOT for 13 years and helps to deliver products and services to all of our customers. Michelle has an MBA from the Hassan School of Business at CSU-Pueblo, she is a Lean Leader, Facilitator, Prosci Advanced Instructor, Prosci Advanced Deployment Leader and enjoys working with project teams across the state. Michelle strives to create a community of collaboration and servant leadership. Michelle ensures that everyone and everything left in her care are nurtured and developed in order to provide the best value and service to the State of Colorado today and into the future. Michelle's expertise lies in strategy, program management, project management, change management, process improvement, facilitation. leadership and working with people - our #1 asset! Improvements and change would not happen without people!

Jamie was born and raised in Colorado and loves the sunshine. She started her first career in the Army serving her country. After that time she has spent the last 15 years in veterinary medicine. She completed her masters in Organizational Learning, Performance and Change and is working to get her Project Management (PMP) certification. She has always had a passion for change management, process improvement and is always looking to learn more. Jamie is excited to bring her knowledge and expertise to a new line of work and have the opportunity to learn from such a great team. In her free time, Jamie spends her time with many animals - dogs, cats and horses. She loves to get out, enjoy the great outdoors and what Colorado has to offer.
