Unfortunately there is no easy answer to this question, as there are multiple steps involved in this process.
PASA Application Review
We are able to process your application much faster if all required documents are submitted as requested. The more times we need to request corrections or additional document, the longer it will take to review your application.
Readiness Call & Onsite Survey
Due to the number of applications being submitted for review, the queue for survey can be quite long. There are multiple parts to this process:
Request for documents to be submitted
Scheduling Readiness Call
3. The survey team will contact the agency to request documents be submitted for review prior to the Readiness Call.
Conducting Readiness Call
During the Readiness Call, the survey team will assess the agencies preparation for survey, and will determine whether the agency is sufficiently prepared for an onsite survey. If the survey team feels that the agency is prepared, they will be added to the queue for the initial onsite survey.
Scheduling Onsite Survey
The agency will be contacted to schedule a time for the initial onsite survey.
Conducting Onsite Survey
This is the final step in the survey process. If the agency is not cited with any deficiencies, the results of the survey will be sent back to the application team to finalize CDPHE's recommendation of certification approval (C&T) to be provided to Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF). If the agency IS cited with any deficiencies, the agency will be required to submit a Plan of Correction (POC) and a desk revisit will be conducted to ensure the deficiencies have been corrected. Only after that will CDPHE be able to recommend certification approval.
