Welcome!

Welcome to our District 6 Curriculum Maps and Pacing Guides page. These maps and pacing guides are created to provide a scope and sequence that would promote meaningful instruction in a balanced literacy model providing rich opportunities for both reading and writing workshop as well as cross disciplinary integration with informational reading, writing, and research. Our curriculum maps and pacing guides align with our current SCCR standards as well as our benchmark formative assessments.

Allie Thrower, literacy coach at Jesse Bobo and Amanda Justice, C and I Coach at JBES and LOES collaborated this summer to create "I CAN" statements for ELA standards in grades K-5th grade. To access your grade level please click on the link below. I have also added these to our D6 ELA website.
