ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) for all 10th grade students will be on October 2025. This is not for enlistment in the Military. Taking the ASVAB will help with navigating a career interest/path for students, helps with earning a career artifact (students are required by PDE to have 8 career artifacts by the end of their Junior year), and helps with an ACT 158 graduation pathway (31 or higher).
A second date for the ASVAB is schedule for January 2026 for any 10th grade student that did not take the assessment the first time, or 11th/12th grade interested in taking the ASVAB for military interest.
PSAT/NMSQT for all 11th grade students will be on October 2025 during the school day. It is recommended all 11th grade students participate in the PSAT (even if they are not a college-bound student). Taking the PSAT will help students earn an ACT 158 graduation pathway (score 970 or higher), helps with earning a career artifact (students are required by PDE to have 8 career artifacts by the end of their Junior year), also if a student is planning to attend college and needs to take the SAT, the PSAT will give them an estimate and an idea how they will do on the SAT.
