It is my pleasure to announce Hannah Ortega as the social studies student of the year. Hannah has challenged herself throughout her four years at SEP by taking numerous Advanced Placement and college courses in the social sciences. Even during voluntary learning, Hannah continues to show up and engage with her education. Hannah took my AP Psychology course her junior year and is currently taking my economics course this semester. She is/was consistently one of my best and hardest-working students. Mr. Fitzpatrick says: "Hannah is collaborative, supportive, positive, and always has a great attitude." Mr. Greving says: "Hannah is a genuinely good person and is one of the nicest and kindest students I've met."
