Honors Diploma
In 2015, the Southeast Polk High School Honors Diploma was established to challenge students through more rigorous course work. Successful completion of the criteria will result in the Honors designation being placed on the student's transcript.
The five criteria for the Honors Diploma are:
A minimum of 56 credits (8 in each core area and 6 in world language)
The completion of four AP courses and exams, one in each of the four core area.
The completion of two additional AP courses and exams for a total of six.
A minimum weighted GPA of 3.8
A minimum ACT score of 28
Congratulations to the following students for earning the Honors Diploma this year. They will receive a medallion to wear at graduation, a seal on their diploma and their transcript will state Honors Diploma.
