It is critical to follow these settings (Instructions here):
disable access to the discussion forum: ensures that students cannot participate with other Duolingo users outside their classroom.
restrict access to the Duolingo events page: prohibits students from participating in Duolingo community events with outside users.
disable the ability to send and receive friend requests: prohibits students from making or accepting friend requests that allow them to share progress, comment on friends’ activities, and react to their leaderboard status & participate in leagues.
disable mature content, such as lessons with references to alcohol and the Duolingo podcast, which may reference alcohol and mature content.
For questions about teachers that may be using this platform with their MLs, please contact ML Coordinator Nicole Elenz-Martin.
