Use it to create social media posts, presentations, posters, videos, logos and Edit PDFs or collect student feedback.
Canva access in our Canvas LMS has already been added for both teachers and students.

I. Create a Canva for Education account from a CANVAS Course
Log into your Canvas account.
Add "Canva Education" to your Course Navigation Menu
Go to Canvas Course>Settings > Course navigation> Enable Magicschool
Click Canva Education link to create your account.
II. Use Canva on Canvas (for teachers)
Create a design
Share Canva content for students
Create Canva assignments for students
Review student assignments in Canvas

I. Accessing and Completing a Canva Assignment
Log in to Canvas and navigate to the assigned task.
Click on the embedded Canva link (e.g., "Start Activity") to open the assignment in Canva.
II. Create a Canva Account (if needed
First-time users may be prompted to create a Canva account to proceed.
Important: Direct students to do using the Canva for Education link in their Canvas course navigation in your course in order to access their account.
III. Complete the Assignment
Modify the template by adding text, images, or other design elements as instructed by the teacher.
IV. Submit Your Work
Return to the Canvas assignment and click Start Assignment.
Choose from the submission options:
Canva for Educators: Locate and submit the design directly from Canva.
File Upload: Download the Canva file (e.g., as a PDF) and upload it to Canvas.

Access to Canva files may be impacted depending on which Canva Account and or Team is currently selected by the user.
Use the screenshots below in Canva to switch between (1), (2) accounts and (3) teams.
Use the search feature within Canva to locate files based on ownership and type.
