ALEKS helps each student's knowledge and learning progress in depth, and provides the individual support required for every student to achieve mastery.
New Teacher Accounts
Go to my.mheducation.com and select Create teacher account.
Enter the registration code Y2RYUDY to create your account:
Next you will need to create a new class. You may set it up so you have a new class for each section or keep all of your sections together in one class
Returning Teachers
Go to my.mheducation.com to review access to texts and classes.
Our District supports manual rostering by teachers.
New student accounts are created by the teacher in Canvas using a class code provided by the instructor:
Teacher will need to first create a class in ALEKS/McGraw Hill Class at https://my.mheducation.com/
Select the your text or resource and then give the class a name, subject, grade level, and start and end date. Select "create class".
3. Under new class, Teacher will "Copy Class Code" that will be used by students to enroll themselves into the class.
4. In Canvas, Teacher will create a new Assignment Link using McGraw Hill as an "External Tool"
5. Teacher will direct students to select the assignment in their Canvas course and students will use the class code to enroll themselves into ALEKS and set up their accounts.

ALEKS will now be using the McGraw-Hill integration
Teachers can add McGraw-Hill/ALEKS as an external app via ssignments in canvas.
Upon initial set up, teachers will be prompted to create a class and add a content.
When a student selects the assignment link in Canvas, their Aleks/Mcgraw Hill account is created.
