Summer School

Summer Academy

Students may take classes like PE, Health and Intro to Studio Art for initial credit. Summer Academy core classes are for credit recovery only (not for advancement). Enrollment will be announced and open late February. See SMSD's Summer Programs or Summer Academy websites for the most up-to-date information. 

There are two sessions for summer academy, and one session costs $170. Students must sign up for the corresponding session needed for credit recovery. Students must provide their own transportation to Shawnee Mission North.

Enrollment opens March --, 2025 in person at home high school counseling office 7am-3:30pm. Full payment is due within 48 hours of enrollment via eFunds or directly to the high school bookkeeper.
