Shawnee Hills Senior Living is a vibrant community that caters to mainly independent living for elderly.  We love to hire high school students.  Often we have positions for server and currently we are in need of a few part time dishwashers.

Franklin General Store is a small family owned business that sells all local products with clean ingredients in downtown Shawnee. 

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage cash operations will be crucial in creating a positive shopping experience for our clientele.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

• Operate the cash register accurately, processing transactions and handling cash with precision.

• Maintain knowledge of current products and local vendors.

• Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is displayed neatly. 

This position is parttime Monday-Friday 3:30pm-close, Saturday 9:30am-close, with opportunity to come in sooner during the week if your schedule allows it. Close typically takes 20 minutes and we close at 6pm during the week and 4pm on Saturday, as long as there are no customers in the store, if there are customers it could be a bit later, but you will have your evenings free! You will always have Sundays off! There will be an additional need during the summer for a few weeks and possibly spring break where open to close daily would be required to cover owner's shift during vacations. Pay is $11/hr.
