KS Scholars Curriculum & Eligibility for Scholarship
4 years of English
4 years of math: Algebra 1, Geometry - or Integrated, Algebra/Geometry 1 and 2, Algebra 2, 1 unit of advanced math
3 years of science (biology, chemistry, and physics)
3 years of social studies
2 years of one world language

Dual Degree is for future Juniors and Seniors only! Earn both an Associate's degree and a high school diploma simultaneously. This option is designed for highly motivated students looking to advance their education. A minimum GPA of 3.5 is recommended. Students are responsible for their own transportation to JCCC and all associated costs. For more information, click the link above. Excel in CTE is formerly SB155, which authorizes JCCC to waive the cost of tuition for high school students who meet JCCC Kansas residency requirements for enrollment in any tiered career technical course. Textbook, program fees and any other additional fees may apply.

Perfect for those who excel in research, writing, and presentation, IB classes prepare students for university-level coursework and foster a well-rounded educational experience.
